New functionality in DiVA: Authority records

The function Authority records is now available in DiVA. The purpose of authority records is to connect an author's overall publications in DiVA.

An authority record contains information about an author, such as names, alternate names, current and past affiliations, and ORCID ID. In the authority record it is also possible for authors to add a short biography/presentation and links to, for example, profile pages. The authority record includes an individual page in the public DiVA interface, where the above information is displayed. You can choose not to display the public personal page.
For authors who previously have publications in DiVA, an authority record will automatically be created. Authors who have not previously published in DiVA can create an authority record at the first registration of a publication in DiVA.
