Academic Resource Centre (ARC) - for a successful academic experience

As a university student you can expect to spend much of your time reading and writing various academic texts. Additionally there is an expectation that you are able to work independently and take responsibility for your learning. The Academic Resource Centre (ARC) can work with you to develop your skills in the following areas:

  • Information searching and retrieval
  • Referencing 
  • Presentation techniques
  • Study skills

Who can turn to the ARC?

You can take part of the ARC’s services, at no cost, as a campus, distance or PhD student enrolled at Umeå University or at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
