The Academic Resource Centre is located next to the Textbook Collection on the ground floor at the University Library. Here you can get tips and strategies in order to study more effectively, get help to feel confident about speaking during seminars, write better papers or to put together good presentations. The Academic Resource Centre is available to all students as well as PhD students at Umeå University. You can visit us in the library, attend one of our presentations, or use our resources on the web. We want to help you succeed in your studies.

The staff at the Academic Resource Centre

The Academic Resource Centre is often staffed from Monday to Thursday, 9 - 15. Each staff member specializes in different services and our individual hours vary, but there is nearly always someone here who can help you get started. The easiest way to contact us is by visiting us during our drop-in hour, 12-13 (Tuesdays - Thursdays).
