Loans

If you are a resident of Umeå the same circulation policies as for campus students apply. If you live outside of Umeå you may either apply for a library card at Umeå University Library to use when you are on Campus, or borrow via your local library. If you have borrowed the book on Campus you need to pay for the return postage if you are unable to return the book on time. Your local library does not bear the costs for returns of such loans. Interlibrary Loan of Textbooks

Consult your local library and request they arrange the loan to Umeå University Library, and state that you are a distance student at Umeå University. The loan period for textbooks is 14 days.

Articles, databases, journals, e-books Off-Campus

You may access the library resources to a large extent Off-Campus! First you need to log in using your CAS identity or via proxy. Search in library resources Off-Campus access

Article Request

Always check our electronic journals before ordering an article copy. There is so much available in full text! To order, please use our order form. You will then be sent a copy of the article with an invoice to your home address. Photocopy request Price List
