Copying and Reproduction
Self-service Copying
To use the library copiers and printers you need a copy card, which you may purchase via a vending machine opposite the copy room. If you only need to make a few copies you may borrow a copy card at the Information Desk, but please note that the price per copy then is higher (SEK 1/per copy). Researchers/teachers paying for their cards via their university department may obtain a new card at the Information Desk.

Educational copying
Teachers’ right to copy materials for educational purpose is governed by copyright law and agreements. The basic rule 15/15 is normally applicable, which means that you, as a teacher, have the right to copy 15% or a maximum of 15 pages from a book for a class set, to hand out to your students for a specific course during one and the same year. If the copying need for a particular course goes beyond what is noted in the agreement, teachers need to consult the publisher to acquire permission.
