Internet access

There are two ways to use the library computers:

Library Guest

You do not need to log in to access the library databases and journals. On the other hand you cannot access websites outside of the University Library resources.

UmU Student and Employee

You need an CAS/AD login to access the Internet without any restrictions. Remember to always log off from the Start menu.

password: XXXXXXXXX

If you have problems to log in you can try to change your password via Service Desk, ITS (former UMDAC) .  Service Desk

Wireless network

There are two ways of logging in to the wireless network:

1. UmU WLAN (Netlogon)

Umeå University's wireless network is called UmU WLAN. Log in with your CAS identification. 

2. Eduroam

Download a personal eduroam certificate to your computer to get automatic access to the wireless network, and no need to log in every time.
