Computer Environment
(Please note, some of the links below refer to Swedish pages)
Via the computers at Umeå University Library you have access to databases, electronic resources, Internet and various programs. You may search, save, print and copy from our computers or by using your own laptop. At the information desk you may also borrow extension cables, earphones and laptop cable locks, as well as purchase USB memory sticks.
New Computer Environment 2012
In spring 2012 we will upgrade to a faster and more stable computer environment. During the transition there may be some disturbances and changes. Please contact the Information Desk if you have any questions. Major changes will be continually reported on this page.
Current Information
- The University Library (UB) has new computers in computer lab 2 and 4 new computers in the Study Hall.
- The Medical Library (MB) has about 20 new computers.

Other Support Tools
Other support tools are e.g. the software help pages (Help), Microsoft Support or Google. You can also search for books about the software in the library catalogue Album or borrow manuals for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OpenOffice, at the information desk at the University Library (UB).
