IPhone and Android apps

The apps has various solutions for access to full text articles. See special instructions for the specific iPhone app.

Eduroam for iPhone gives direct access to the library e-resources from most  Swedish campuses and also from some European.

EBSCOhost Iphone and Android apps gives complete access to the librarys all EBSCOhost databases (no login needed). From an iPhone go to https://proxy.ub.umu.se/login?url=http://search.epnet.com/ and choose a database. At the bottom of the search page click on the link "EBSCOhost iPhone and Android application".  Enter an email address, and you will receive a link to the App Store, and also a link to click that will marry the app to the databases owned by Umeå University Library.

SciVerse ScienceDirect (2 500 peer-reviewed journals from Elsevier) and Scopus. Register from a computer on campus to get automatic access to full text articles. PubMed on Tap ($2.99) and PubMed on Tap Lite (free, only gives 10 hits at a time). For access to articles in full text from the library's e-journals you have to log in via the library proxy server,  under “Settings”, “Library proxy” fill in: http://proxy.ub.umu.se/login?url=%@ PubMed on Tap

Nature journals. You have to register a password. News and Communications are free, for other types of articles only abstracts. Full text links via e-mail, but they can only be read from campus or via CAS-login.
