Libraries and Collections

When you have retrieved a book in our catalogue Album, you will find information on Sublibrary, Collection and Shelf for the item in the entry.

In the above screenshot the book is located at the University Library (UB) in the Study Hall collection. If the book is located at the Medical Library (MB), you would have seen Med Lib instead of Univ Lib, under the heading Sublibrary. This specific book represents one of the new DDC placed books, where the call number constitutes a DDC code plus the first letters in the author’s last name or the title of the book. The library owns one copy of this title and it is currently checked out, according to this screenshot.
