The department is in charge of:
- Administration, accessibility, analysis, development and evaluation of the library's digital resources.
- Integration of the library's web services with other local (UmU), national and international information systems.
- Design, development and maintenance of the library's internal and external web.
- Administration and development of the university's e-publishing via the publishing system DiVA.
- Other related tasks.
