Collections
The department is in charge of:
- Selecting, compiling and developing the collections at the University Library (UB) in both printed and electronic format. This applies to literature purchases as well as donations and Swedish legal desposits.
- Making the collections accessible via attributing subject headings and registering in the national database LIBRIS.
- The textbook collection at UB.
- Care of the collections (Bookbindery).
- Working with and developing the functions acquisitions and cataloguing, and drawing up plans and policies for those areas.
- Contact with the university departments within the humanities, social sciences and science and technology.
